FMBN boosts housing in seven states with 1,500 units
Amid concerns that a yearly rural-urban migration of over 5 per cent requires 720,000 housing units annually to fill the nation’s housing deficit, Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) has uploaded 1,500 housing units into the property market.

THE HISTORY OF IBEJU-LEKKI
IBEJU LEKKI Local Government is created in Lagos State by Gen Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida in 1990, out of the old Epe Local Government, with headquarters at Akodo. However in Oct. 2003, the then Executive Governor of Lagos State, H. E Bola Ahmed Tinubu, carved LEKKI LCDA out of IBEJU LEKKI LOCAL GOVERNMENT. This, in turn, necessitated the relocation of the headquarters from Akodo to Igando Oloja, its present site.
